We are very much dependent on foreign aid worth USD 41 billion – Finance Minister

Today, Ukraine is very much dependent on foreign financial aid.

Serhii Marchenko, Minister of Finance of Ukraine, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“We are very much dependent on the foreign aid, this dependence is measured in the amount of USD 41 billion for the next year. This includes aid via the International Monetary Fund program, we expect assistance from the European Union, negotiations are actively underway to launch a four-year program for Ukraine. We also hope for aid from the United States,” Serhii Marchenko said.
