Verkhovna Rada likely to vote on draft law on mobilization by end of March

The bill on mobilization can be put to a vote in the parliament by the end of this month.

Fedir Venislavskyi, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Member of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“I think that the committee – or so my colleagues from the committee and I expect – will spend one to two weeks to finalize the conclusion. Then the committee’s conclusion will be put to a vote, which is a mandatory procedure for consideration of the draft law in the parliament. I think that there is every chance that this draft law will get to the second reading in its finalized form, as a consolidated comparative table, by the end of this month,” said Fedir Venislavskyi.
