Units of the State Migration Service Started Working in Kharkiv Oblast, Issuing the First Documents

Nataliia Naumenko, Head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, stated this at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

The State Migration Service has opened its units in Kharkiv Oblast in areas adjacent to the liberated territories, such as its Zmiyiv and Chuhuiv units.

“They are already fully operable. All employees are back; all communication channels have been reconnected, and the first documents are being issued. Pervomaiskyi unit also started working,” she said.

Restoring lost documents opens the way for people to get welfare benefits. For this reason, the State Migration Service is trying to resume operations as soon as possible.

Nataliia Naumenko added that the State Migration Service planned to open units in the liberated territories in Balakliia and Shevchenkove once the power supply was restored.

“As long as there are no full-fledged units, a mobile bus-based unit will work in the liberated territories. Using the Starlink system, specialists connect to our databases to provide the necessary services,” the Head of the State Migration Service emphasized.
