Units of State Emergency Service clear 627 hectares of Kharkiv region and defuse over 11,000 explosives

Currently, many unified units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are working in the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv region with about 250 rescuers and more than 100 pieces of equipment on site. According to the experts, the occupiers deliberately mined civilian infrastructure.

“Demining is ongoing in Kharkiv oblast. Since September 8, explosive disposal experts of the State Emergency Service have found and neutralized more than 11,000 explosives and cleared 627 hectares of territory,” — Roman Prymush said.

The main task of explosive disposal units now is to inspect roads and infrastructure. As of now, over 100 kilometers of roads have been inspected. Also, a large number of rescuers are involved in clearing the debris.
