Ukroboronprom hires over 9,500 people since start of full-scale invasion – Nataliya Sad

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukroboronprom State Concern and the newly created equipment production, repair, and restoration sites have hired about 9,500 people. In a few weeks, this figure will reach more than 10,000.

Nataliya Sad, Ukroboronprom Spokeswoman, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“This indicates that the demand for people, who will restore equipment to return it to service, who will work on the production of this equipment, on the production of shells, is very high,” Nataliya Sad noted.

In addition, the Spokeswoman for Ukroboronprom pointed out that they currently have about 2,000 job openings. Nataliya Sad also said that a total of more than 70,000 specialists currently work at Ukroboronprom enterprises.

The Spokeswoman of the concern also reported on signing of a strategic partnership between Ukroboronprom and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Thus, students of higher and professional and technical education institutions will be able to undergo practical training and pre-diploma internship at Ukroboronprom. This will make it possible to popularize the defense sector professions and ensure the influx of younger staff and the modernization of production.
