“Ukrainian Soldiers Are about to Finish Their Training on Modern Panzerhaubitze 2000 To Be Handed over by Germany,” Germany’s Ambassador to Ukraine

Germany trains Ukrainian soldiers to use modern weapons. For instance, the German trainers are about to finish training Ukrainian soldiers to use Panzerhaubitze 2000 to be supplied to Ukraine. Anka Feldhusen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine, made this statement during her briefing at Media Center Ukraine. According to her, these howitzers will be very helpful on the frontline. According to the Ambassador, the supply of MLRS systems will be the next step in helping Ukraine, to be followed by IRIS-T, a contemporary air defense system.

“I understand Ukraine does not have much time. Soldiers are killed every day. So if I governed Ukraine, I would be critical not only of Germany but also of other partners. But I know that Germany has been Ukraine’s very reliable and long-term partner. And we will remain such a partner in the time to come,” Germany’s Ambassador to Ukraine stated.
