Ukrainian President announces signing of major defense and energy agreements at Recovery Conference – Maria Mezentseva

At the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which started in Berlin on June 11, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the signing of important agreements in the defense and energy sectors.

Maria Mezentseva, Deputy Head of the Committee on Ukraine’s Integration into the EU, Head of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE, who is currently attending the Ukraine Recovery Conference, made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukraine.

“It is a very powerful conference. It has just begun, and the President has already announced that major defense and energy agreements will be signed on the sidelines of the Conference,” said Maria Mezentseva.

According to her, the Ukraine Recovery Conference brought together a large number of guests, including arms manufacturers, energy companies, private business, state corporations, the non-governmental sector, human rights activists, financiers, and companies representing the energy sector.  According to her, there are about 3,000 people just in the hall, and about 2,000 more are on the sidelines of the conference.
