Ukrainian flag planted on Snake Island: Security and Defense Forces of South of Ukraine report on successful operation

Natalia Humeniuk, Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine made this statement at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“The flag of Ukraine has been planted on the Snake Island. The military operation has been completed and the territory has been returned under the jurisdiction of Ukraine,” — she said.

In the rest of the territory, our troops are advancing slowly but surely: “First we liberate the territory, consolidate our positions, and only then do we announce it.”
