Ukrainian banks have grown their year-to-date profits to over UAH 122 billion

Overall, Ukraine’s banking system is profitable today. Over 10 months of this year, more than UAH 122 billion was received, and the balances in the banking system in all currencies drove profit ticking up by more than UAH 630 billion since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Vasyl Furman, Member of the NBU Council, made this report during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform. 

“In general, when it comes to the banking system, it is solvent, creditworthy, and stable. We see, for example, that the balances in all currencies in the banking system are up by more than UAH 630 billion since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. This shows that both business and citizens trust the banking system of Ukraine,” said Vasyl Furman.
