Ukraine Seeks New Technologies for Extracting Explosive Ordnance from the Ground – Ihor Bezkaravaynyi
The Ministry of Economy is seeking new technologies for the most challenging stage of demining—the extraction of explosive ordnance from the ground. Ihor Bezkaravayny, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, spoke about this during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.
“The physical removal of an explosive object from the ground is the slowest, most complex, and most dangerous process,” he said.
At the same time, the Deputy Minister of Economy emphasized that Ukraine also has expertise to share with the world—big data analysis in the field of demining.
“Reconnaissance, data analysis, reconnaissance—these are things that were absent in other major wars. This is an achievement that many want to attain,” emphasized Ihor Bezkaravaynyi.
