Ukraine’s recovery in focus of international partners: US announces over $800 million support package for energy sector
At the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin, the United States introduced a financial support package exceeding $800 million to aid in the restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
Yulia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, made the announcement during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“The United States announced a financial support package for energy restoration worth more than $800 million during the conference. This means that in addition to funding from our state budget, our partners are assisting in restoring lost equipment, repairing critical infrastructure, attracting private investment in the energy sector, and protecting energy infrastructure. This immediate response is a clear signal that our recovery, particularly the restoration of the energy sector, is a priority for our partners,” emphasized Svyrydenko.
