Ukraine’s maritime exports near pre-war levels, says Dmytro Solomchuk
Ukraine’s sea exports are approaching levels seen before the war, reaching approximately 80% of their volume before the all-out invasion.
Dmytro Solomchuk, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the Agrarian and Land Policy Committee, made the announcement during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“Observing the trends from spring and summer, we see that maritime exports are currently around 80% of what they were before the 2022 invasion. While the figures varied last year due to different security measures, with some periods seeing increases of 30-40% and others only 10%, we are now approaching the export volumes that were typical before the conflict,” Solomchuk explained.
