Ukraine’s crop harvest exceeds 62 million tons, says Agrarian Council official

Ukraine’s agricultural sector has brought in over 62 million tons of crops so far this year, with grain and oilseeds accounting for 57 million tons of the total, according to Denys Marchuk, Deputy Head of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council. 

Speaking at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine, Marchuk provided an update on the ongoing harvest. “So far, we’ve gathered approximately 57 million tons of grains and oilseeds. Including sugar beet, the total exceeds 62 million tons,” he said. “The harvesting process remains in progress, and we expect the final numbers will reach the projected range of 70-72 million tons, as sunflower and corn are still being collected.”
