“Ukraine Needs to Develop New Supply Chains to Survive Autumn Having Fuel,” Director of Consulting Group A95
Ukraine needs to establish new fuel supply chains to be available to keep purchasing fuel. The resources available in Europe can shrink in autumn. Sergei Kuyun, Director of Consulting Group A95, described the situation during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
“We are on the eve of the seasonal consumption surge; it surges not only in Ukraine but also in neighboring countries. We must realize that these countries will be interested in securing supplies to their consumers first. This situation gives rise to a risk of seasonal shortage,” Sergei Kuyun explained.
In his opinion, the seasonal transportation of the harvested crops can also contribute to the shortage because it creates pressure on the transportation infrastructure, making it more difficult to supply fuel.
