Ukraine may deploy peace-support mission on the border with belarus within a few weeks — Venislavskyi
Fedir Venislavskyi, Representative of the President of Ukraine to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made this statement at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“For an international peace-support mission, Ukraine needs no permission from the aggressor countries. We can make such a decision in accordance with the Constitution. The process will take several weeks,” he said.
Now there is no threat of an offensive from the belarus’ direction. There are about 6 battalions and one brigade that carries out provocative actions. However, according to the Chief Intelligence Directorate, russian troops are coming in belarus. The Ukrainian Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready for any scenario.
