Ukraine exports over 43 million tons of grain over one year of maritime humanitarian corridor’s operation – Denys Marchuk

Over the year, Ukraine managed to export more than 43 million tons of grain crops through the maritime humanitarian corridor.

Denys Marchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“August 16, our humanitarian corridor, or the “grain corridor” as we call it, marked one year since the start of its operation. More than 43 million tons of grain crops were sold. This is a great result. We basically did it by ourselves with the security guaranteed by our military and partners who are helping us with the demining of the Black Sea,” said Denys Marchuk.
