Ukraine currently exports 4.5 – 5.5 million tons of agricultural products per month – Taras Vysotskyi

Ukraine is currently exporting 4.5 – 5.5 million tons of agricultural products per month, a volume sufficient to meet export targets before the next harvest.

This was announced by Taras Vysotskyi, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“At present, exports are between 4.5 and 5.5 million tons per month. This figure may fluctuate, but it is sufficient to export the planned volumes before the next harvest, while ensuring supplies for domestic consumption,” the deputy minister explained.

He also provided details on the planned export volumes of grains and oilseeds.

“We are looking at about 40-45 million tons of grain for export, and at this stage it appears that this volume will actually be exported. In addition, about 17 million tons of oilseeds and processed products are planned for export,” Vysotskyi said.
