U.S. Representative to the United Nations: We Will Bring the Russian Army to Justice

The Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, U.S. Representative to the United Nations, made this statement in the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“My message to the russian forces is simple: we will bring you to justice for your war crimes. Justness will prevail,” she stressed.

The U.S. representative added that she visited the forensic laboratory, where specialists carefully check the war crime scenes and collect the necessary evidence. The American diplomatist stressed that their findings will be used by officials to build a case against those who committed such terrible crimes.

“I return to New York determined to hold russia accountable, continue to counter the food crisis, and do everything possible to ensure that Ukraine gets through the winter months. The United States together with our partners and allies will stand with Ukraine as much as suffices. Ukraine will never be a russia’s victory. Democracy will win in this country,” Thomas-Greenfield noted.
