Traffic via Crimean Bridge is extremely complicated – Natalia Humeniuk on occupiers’ logistics routes

The main bridges, which are the basis of the enemy’s transport and logistics routes, have already been damaged. It is impossible to restore them to full readiness and capacity according to their performance characteristics. Traffic via the Crimean Bridge has been made significantly more complicated. Therefore, in most cases, the occupiers are using highway M-17.

Natalia Humeniuk, Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Since the damage inflicted on them, even if ‘patched up’, does not allow for full capacity. In particular, this is related to heavy equipment, weapons and ammunition transportation. They can now be used only for the transportation of personnel. We observe this movement in a certain way. But in most cases, highway M-17 is still being used, which is an alternative route,” Natalia Humeniuk said.

As for the Crimean Bridge, noted Natalia Humeniuk, rail traffic still occurs from time to time, while road traffic is extremely complicated.

“And in connection with the constant delusions of danger that occur in the leadership of the terrorist country, they very often cover it up. That is, even in conditions of slow and complicated logistics, they manage to impose additional restrictions on themselves,” she added.
