
Three detached houses destroyed, 15 damaged – State Emergency Service reports on consequences of enemy attack in Kyiv region
According to preliminary data, as a result of falling debris in Vyshhorod district of Kyiv region, three private houses were destroyed, and another 15 were damaged. Emergency services are already on site working to eliminate the consequences.
Oleksandr Khorunzhyy, Press Officer of the State Emergency Service, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“We are already working in Vyshhorod district of Kyiv region. According to preliminary data, as a result of falling debris, three detached houses were destroyed, 15 houses and two farm buildings were damaged. A detached house caught fire on site. To eliminate this fire, 2 units of equipment and 8 people were involved,” he said.
Oleksandr Khorunzhyy also noted that at another address, a fire broke out on the grass covering an area of 2 hectares, as a result of the falling debris from an enemy target. The fire and rescue unit was involved in extinguishing this fire.
Around noon on Friday, June 16, a large-scale air alert was announced in Ukraine. In particular, the enemy attacked the capital.
