Third Assault Brigade recruits over 500 new soldiers per month
The rate of volunteer enlistment in the Third Separate Assault Brigade is steadily increasing. Currently, over 500 people join the brigade every month through various programs.
This was stated by Dmytro Kukharchuk, head of recruitment of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“The year 2024 has already shown an increase in the number of recruits compared to 2023,” he noted.
According to Kukharchuk, November 2024 set a record for volunteer recruitment, with 565 new recruits in a single month. In general, more than 500 volunteers join the brigade every month.
“When we talk about recruitment sources, we see people coming from different backgrounds: those who apply independently, transfers from other military units, I also work with people from correctional facilities, the so-called conditional parolees – this project has been quite successful, – and we even work with servicemen who have left their military unit without permission. In addition, we are actively recruiting foreign volunteers. In fact, the first international rifle battalion within the Third Assault Brigade has already been formed, consisting mainly of English and Spanish speaking personnel. Overall, our monthly recruitment remains steady at over 500 people,” he explained.
