There’s another wave of citizens departing from temporarily occupied Melitopol district — Ivan Fedorov

With the intensification of enemy propaganda and terror against the civilian population, another wave of departure from Melitopol district is taking place now.

Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol, made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Now we see another wave of departure. This is a consequence of those explosions, which began to appear often for the third week in a row. And, of course, as a result of the enemy’s intensification of his propaganda and terror against the civilian population. So over the past few weeks, according to our calculations, at least 2,000 of our residents have left the temporarily occupied territory.”

In addition, Ivan Fedorov noted that today international organizations are helping citizens leave the temporarily occupied Melitopol.

“Also, we are grateful to our international partners who have drawn up memorandums and agreements with us, and today are helping residents leave the temporarily occupied Melitopol. And at least 200 more people left under this program. And this trend continues, we see another wave of departures.”
