“There is no increased military activity in the so-called Transnistria”, – Natalya Humenyuk

Despite the fact that earlier the russian media accused the defense forces of Ukraine of preparing such a provocation to seize ammunition depots in Kovbasna. Nataliya Humenyuk, chief of the Joint Coordination Press Office of the Security and Defense Forces in the South of Ukraine, told about this at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.

“This is a classic example of information warfare. They want to provoke the situation, to switch the attention of the world society. By switching everybody’s attention, they want to improve your position in other sectors. For example, in the East or in the South. We are ready for events that may develop there, but we do not see increased activity. Our forces are ready to respond adequately,” – the officer said.
