There are over 200 political prisoners in Crimean prisons – Crimean Human Rights Group

Ukrainian society should not forget about its fellow citizens who remain under occupation. Olga Skrypnyk, chair of the board of the Crimean Human Rights Group, made this statement during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.

“In particular, there are 226 political prisoners in Crimea who are being held for supporting Ukraine,” she said.

Olga Skrypnyk called on Ukrainian authorities to communicate more and pay attention to the people who remain under occupation.
