There are no pension debts anymore in the liberated territories of the Kherson oblast – Head of the Kherson regional council Oleksandr Samoilenko

“The pension system is working. Pensions are compensated. Those that were charged to the cards were charged. Ukrposhta also physically paid pensions. There are no pension arrears in the de-occupied territories,” Oleksandr Samoilenko stated during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Odesa.

He also added that mobile Ukrainian cell networks already operates on the liberated terriitories while internet is being restored.

But Samoilenko also called on people who have the opportunity to leave the occupied territories due to problems with livelihoods.

“It is better to leave the de-occupied lands. Many villages were destroyed. Vysokopyla – 90% destroyed. It takes time to restore, but we don’t have time. There are funds, but there is no way to work, the settlements are under constant shelling,” said the Head of the Kherson oblast Council, Oleksandr Samoilenko, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Odesa.
