There are about 60,000 refugees from Ukraine in Estonia — Kaimo Kuusk

More than 100,000 Ukrainians have come to Estonia since the start of the full-scale invasion. Currently, there are about 60,000 refugees from Ukraine in the country.

Kaimo Kuusk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine, reported this statistics at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“More than 100,000 Ukrainians have come to Estonia since the start of the full-scale invasion. For some Estonia was a transit country to get to Finland or Sweden, but some later returned. At this time, according to our calculations, 50,000 to 60,000 Ukrainians currently stay in Estonia. This is equal to about 3% of the population of Estonia,” the diplomat noted.
