The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center clarifies if Ukraine’s climate is still moderately continental

The climate in Ukraine remains temperate continental, though there are emerging signs of change, particularly in the southern regions. 

Natalia Ptukha, Spokesperson of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, addressed this issue during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine. 

“Undoubtedly, the climate in Ukraine is still moderately continental. While no significant alterations have occurred to the extent that we can declare a complete climate shift or the emergence of new climatic zones, we are observing changes,” Ptukha stated. “These changes are most evident in the southern areas, and they have been observed.”
