The Third Farmers’ Fair Opens in Lviv, Where a New Coffee Recipe Was Presented
Lviv Farmers’ Fair, where farmers from Lviv Oblast offer their produce, has started working in Rynok Square. Visitors can buy cheeses, sausages, homemade wines, pastries, etc.
The first Lviv Farmers’ Fair was organized in July 2020 to support local producers and the national economy during the COVID-19 pandemic. For the third year in a row, Lviv City Council offers a place for the local farmers to share their experiences with colleagues and present and sell their products.
“It is important to do everything that helps us win this war. For example, these guys are making coffee and handing over all proceeds to Ukraine’s Armed Forces. All entrepreneurs at the fair help our army. It is important not to ask the whole world for money (however, we are grateful to everyone who helps) but to make sure our economy works. We must use every instant and work even under these difficult circumstances,” Andrii Sadovyi, Lviv’s Mayor, believes.
The presentation of the new Ukrainer coffee recipe by Vadim Granovskiy, a champion in coffee-making, became the highlight of this year’s Fair.
“Our Ukrainer coffee is a mix of a double espresso with a cezve coffee in a single cup. It is a strong, intense, and vivid coffee drink. It is the coffee style preferred by our soldiers, and it gave us an idea to develop a drink that would epitomize Ukraine. Strong coffee means a strong country. We want the whole world to drink this coffee and support our country,” Vadim Granovskiy said. Lviv Farmers’ Fair will be open every Saturday from 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM till mid-fall.
