The russian army steps up offensive in Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts, storming Ukrainian defence force

The russian Armed Forces have launched their offensive in the east of Ukraine. The main goal is to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk Oblast and Luhansk Oblast, as well as to retain control over a land corridor with the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Missile and air strikes on civilian facilities throughout Ukraine, in particular in the western provinces, continue unabated. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy conducted at least 49 sorties by russian operative and tactical and long-range aviation.

This was stated by Colonel Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine during a briefing at the Ukrainian Media Centre, taken place in Kyiv.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to partially blockade Kharkiv, meanwhile city artillery bombardment.

In the Izium-Barvinkove direction, the enemy activated aerial reconnaissance involving the UAVs. The invaders conduct offensives on the left bank of the Siverskyi Donets River, in the Andriivka-Zavody directions, Brazhkivka-Dmitrivka and Sulihivka-Dibrvne.

The occupants are also redeploying additional Tor missile system Air Defence Missile brigades in the Kharkiv region. S-400 and S-300 surface-to-air missiles systems (SAM) Air Defence Missile brigades have been deployed to cover the main control points and rear areas in the Belgorod Oblast bordering Ukraine.

In the Donetsk and Tavriia directions, the Russian Army, supported by strategic bombers, conducting offensive operations along the entire contact battle line. In particular at the Kreminna-Terny and Rubizhne-Popasna borders in the Luhansk Oblast, and in the Staromlynivka-Shevchenkove directions in the Donetsk Oblast.

Over the past 24 hours in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, Ukrainian soldiers repelled seven enemy attacks.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine Air Forces shot down seven aerial targets: one aircraft, four UAVs and two cruise missiles.

In the Southern Bug direction, the Russian occupants will seek to get beyond the boundaries and gain a foothold on the administrative border of the Kherson Oblast.

?“The russians are carrying out assault actions in the area of the village of Oleksandrivka in order to improve the tactical position and advance into the Bug estuary. The enemy does not cease shelling civilian facilities in Mykolaiv,” said Motuzyanyk.

Belarus continues to provide its territory for air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, as well as facilities reconnaissance on our territory.
