“The risk of invasion by belarusian troops remains, but Lviv region is prepared for an attack,” Lviv Oblast Military Administration

All forces of the Lviv region are preparing for any manifestations of aggression on the part of belarus, because the risk of the invasion from the north hasn’t been ruled out, First Deputy Head of Lviv Oblast Military Administration Military Administration Andrii Hodyk said at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“Our tasks are very simple, but require hard work. First of all, it is the coordination of all forces and means, both the law enforcement and the military, to coordinate plans to repel the aggression from belarus. It is also the establishment of cooperation with neighboring regions, in particular, with Volyn region in terms of coordinated actions,” — Andrii Hodyk said.

According to him, preparations are also underway through the construction of additional defense and engineering networks in Lviv region.

“We are ready for anything, and our task is to be ready for anything. But, first of all, we must be ready for intensified missile and air strikes from the north,” — the First Deputy Chief of the Lviv Regional Military Administration said.
