The number of testing centers for Ukrainian applicants and students abroad will increase significantly – Serhii Babak
A testing center network allowing to take the National Multi-Subject Test and all other entrance exams required by Ukrainian legislation has been created in almost all European countries, the United States, and Canada.
Serhii Babak, Chair of Verkhovna Rada’s Education, Science, and Innovations Committee, made the relevant statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
He noted that the Ministry of Education and Science is constantly working to increase the number of those centers.
“Increasing the number of testing centers is currently being negotiated with countries such as the UK, Georgia, Moldova, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Turkey, etc. We want to make those centers easy to get for children from different parts of European countries, granting access to Ukrainian education this way. The number of testing centers abroad is growing almost day by day. And there will definitely be more of them than last year,” said Babak.
To recall, in 2022, due to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) was introduced. This form of testing is a temporary replacement for regular External Independent Testing entrance exams. It’s online computer-based testing in three subjects.
