The enemy launches 111 attacks in Zaporizhia region – Yurii Malashko

“As of today, the enemy hits Zaporizhia region with 111 attacks using guided missiles and artillery in Orikhiv, Vasylivka, and Polohy districts, as is already the current practice. One woman, aged 66, was injured and taken to the hospital,” said Yurii Malashko, Head of Zaporizhia Oblast Military Administration, at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

Commenting on the functioning of critical infrastructure, he noted that some settlements on the contact line are currently cut off the power supply. 

“In terms of electricity supply, there are some settlements, on the contact line in particular, where there is simply no electricity. However, the ‘points of invincibility’ in these cities are operating equipped with power and water pump generators,” he added.

Furthermore, according to Yurii Malashko, the current gas supply issue remains tight.

“Speaking of gas supply, 37 settlements left without gas are due to the fact of being located on the contact line. Unfortunately, emergency repair work can only be carried out once the damaged sites are accessed.”
