The enemy is trying to destroy the infrastructure involved in the “grain agreement”, – Natalia Humeniuk
Nataliya Humenyuk, chief of the Joint Coordination Press Office of the Security and Defense Forces in the South of Ukraine, said this at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.
“The enemy attacked last night. They increased the number of barrage weapons – Iranian drones of the Shaded 131/136 type. That night, the enemy attacked with 30 drones, 24 were destroyed. The enemy’s goal was to destroy the civilian and port infrastructure involved in the “grain agreement”… The terrorist country is trying to prove that Ukraine is not a reliable partner in the further work of this initiative,” the spokesperson of the coordination center said.
According to Natalia Humeniuk, there is damage to port infrastructure – elevators and agricultural complexes.
“Everything involved in grain transportation. Unfortunately, two drivers of large vehicles were injured,” the officer added.
She also noted that the attack took place from the Crimean Peninsula, from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov, and that to distract Ukrainian air defense, the russians launched drones from Kursk.
