Tens of billions of dollars needed to restore destroyed and damaged water supply systems in Ukraine — Ukrvodokanalekolohiia Association

Tens of billions of dollars will be needed to restore water supply systems that have been destroyed or damaged during the war in Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by Dmytro Novytskyi, President of the Ukrvodokanalekolohiia Association during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Preliminary estimates collected by the World Bank at the end of the summer suggest that about USD 5 billion are needed to restore our systems. But these are obvious things, obvious jobs that need to be done. In fact, the figure is much larger. I think that it is at least tens of billions of dollars,” — Dmytro Novytskyi noted.
