Temperatures will reach 30+ this weekend, and +35 in Zakarpattia – Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine

Temperatures in Ukraine are on the rise. Experts predict that temperatures will only continue to rise.

Natalia Ptukha, head of the media communications department at the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, spoke about this at the Ukraine Media Center. 

“An anticyclone is currently over Europe. Light winds have combined with scorching air. More intense heat will reach Ukraine closer to the weekend. We expect temperatures of 30+ degrees. In particular, in Zakarpattia, temperatures will reach 35+, which is already considered a dangerous level,” she said. 

Natalia Ptukha urges Ukrainians to be cautious, especially when swimming in cold water, where temperatures range from +20 to +22 degrees.
