Support for Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic course reaches almost 90% in certain regions of country — Mezentseva

Ukrainians will directly participate in making the decision on the country’s joining the European Union. Maria Mezentseva, Member of the Verkhovna Rada, Head of the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“I would like to point out: the process of a new state joining the EU has always been a political decision. Ukrainians will take a direct part in this by means of a referendum and voting for it. We see the reaction of Ukrainians throughout Ukraine, which in some regions reaches almost 90% in support of the Euro-Atlantic course,” — Mezentseva said.
