The invaders force Ukrainian children to donate blood for their soldiers
At the same time, they do not comply with relevant medical standards. Vira Yastrebova, lawyer, director of the NGO “Shidna Pravozahisna grupa” (Eastern Human Rights Group), told about this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.
“The occupiers forcibly send Ukrainian children, schoolchildren and students in the occupied territories to donate blood for their soldiers. As they like to say, “anything for the front, anything for victory.” They don’t care about the local population, they consider people as material,” – said the human rights activist.
She also added that there are problems with the supply of medicines for the treatment of chronic diseases in the occupied territories. “Also, there is no drug replacement therapy, treatment of diabetes mellitus, antibiotics, painkillers. There are no vital drugs that sick people have to take every day. The medicine imported by the invaders is sent to the military,” – the human rights activist said.
She also added that there are no doctors in the occupied territories.
“The russians send doctors to treat their soldiers. It is almost impossible to find a doctor with a narrow specialization, to have a consultation with him,” – Vira Yastrebova said.
