The Absolute Majority of Consumers in Kherson City Are Connected to Electricity and Water Supply, But the Heating Situation Is Problematic — the Oblast Council

The homes of most Kherson residents are provided with electrical power and water, but there are still problems with heating. The especially difficult situation is in the Ostriv microdistrict. Yurii Sobolevskyi, First Deputy Head of Kherson Oblast Council, made this statement during the briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Now the absolute majority of consumers of Kherson city are connected to power grids and water supply. The heating situation is more complicated. There is no way to solve the problem with the Ostriv microdistrict at this point so that there is heating. There are both a large number of hits and utility problems there. Therefore, voluntary evacuation is the 100% best solution there. In general, this situation in the Kherson region is satisfactory,” Yurii Sobolevskyi said.
