Since February 2022, Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program supports 1,300 small and medium-sized enterprises — USAID

USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine is focused on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises of our country. Hanna Bashnyak, USAID Program expert spoke about it at the briefing entitled “Digital Deregulation in Environmental Protection” at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine works to increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises on the Ukrainian and international markets. It helps to build a simplified and transparent business climate, and also provides Ukrainian companies with opportunities to take advantage of international trade. After russia’s full-scale invasion in February, the program focused its efforts on rebuilding Ukraine’s economy. In total, since February 2022, the program has supported 1,300 small and medium-sized enterprises. As a result of this work, 8,721 jobs have been saved, and more than 2,000 new jobs have been created,” — Bashnyak said.
