Municipal property in Mykolaiv was damaged because of shelling for at least 1.4 billion hryvnias

But this is very approximate and not final. The mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevich, told about this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine-Odesa.

“Damage in the amount of 1.4 billion hryvnias was caused to communal property objects. This is a very approximate and not final figure, we cannot calculate what damages were caused to schools and hospitals,” the mayor said.

He also added that 874 high-rise buildings and 1,069 private houses were damaged in the city, 30 and 71 of them, respectively, were completely destroyed.
