This is about 3% of expected foreign direct investment. Kyrylo Kryvolap, adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, said this during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.

“By 2030, we hope Ukraine will already be a part of the European Union. EXPO will attract investments. EXPO 2030 may generate 3% FDI.

$2 billion is required for the construction of everything related to the holding of EXPO 2030 within 6 months. And another $9 billion will need to be invested in logistics and infrastructure of the region. We can say thanks to EXPO 2030, up to $10 billion will flow into the economy”, – Kryvolap noted.

He also said that before the full-scale invasion, Ukraine’s GDP was $200 billion.

“At EXPO 2030, we expect 14 million tourists within 6 months,” – the adviser added.
