Stop Bloody Energy: representatives of Ukraine’s largest energy companies call on Western businesses to stop cooperating with russia

DTEK Executive Director Dmytro Sakharuk said during a briefing at Ukraine Media Center that DTEK Group, together with Naftogaz of Ukraine and Ukrenergo, had launched an initiative called Stop Bloody Energy. They are urging Western companies to stop doing business with russian energy companies.

«We have launched a website where we collect information about all companies that trade energy with russia and russian companies, including traders of gas, coal, oil, and suppliers of equipment needed for oil, gas and coal production,» – Mr. Sakharuk explains.

According to him, thanks to this initiative, some companies have already decided to stop working in russia.

Mr. Sakharuk also stressed that russia earned about USD 1 billion a day from selling gas, oil and coal. Accordingly, these funds can be used to purchase weapons and equipment for the occupiers.
