Stefanchuk Invited Members of European Parliaments to Visit Bucha and Borodianka to See Crimes Perpetrated by the russians with Their Own Eyes
Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chair of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, invited members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to come to Ukraine to capture details of crimes perpetrated by russians in Kyiv Oblast during his joint briefing with Tiny Kox, PACE President, at Ukraine Media Center.
“I invite you to come to Ukraine to visit Kyiv, Bucha, Irpin, Borodianka, Vorzel, and Hostomel. Let us walk together along the trails where crimes were perpetrated against the Ukrainian people. We must do everything to make sure that anything like this happens again. This slogan—Never Again—was proclaimed in 1945, but some people seem to have forgotten it by 2022. We will not forget anything; we will not forgive anyone; we will rebuild everything and make sure it does not happen ever again,” Ruslan Stefanchuk stated. The Chair of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also invited the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to set up a special panel to travel to locations of the crimes perpetrated by the russian military to record all facts of this kind. According to Ruslan Stefanchuk, the Ukrainian Parliament has already engaged with this initiative—all personnel of the Verkhovna Rada, including its media functions, must come to the de-occupied areas of Kyiv Oblast to document the atrocities perpetrated by the russians.
