State Emergency Service’s EOD specialists triple in numbers since start of full-scale invasion
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the number of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) specialists in the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has tripled from 600 to 1,700.
Oleksandr Khorunzhyy, Press Officer of the State Emergency Service announced this data during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“Before the war, we had up to 600 EOD specialists, now this number has almost tripled and there are over 1,700 EOD specialists. And this work will go on, taking into account the scale of russia’s indiscriminate use of explosives,” said Oleksandr Khorunzhyy.
