State Emergency Service identifies three regions most contaminated with explosive ordnance

Today, three regions stand out as most heavily contaminated with explosive ordnance. These particularly include, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kherson regions.

Serhii Reva, Head of the Department for Organizational Work on Humanitarian Demining at the Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Today, I would point out three main regions that are the most heavily contaminated (with explosive ordnance – Ed.), these are Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kherson regions, if we talk about the de-occupied territories. These are the main directions, where we are currently working, and where the main efforts are concentrated,” Serhii Reva noted.
