State Border Guard Service clarifies whether male students can travel abroad

Male students studying abroad do not have the right to leave Ukraine.

Valerii Boiko, Deputy Head of the Department – Head of the Passport Department of the Border Control Organization Directorate of the Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, made this report at a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center – Ukrinform. 

“At present, this position remains unchanged, this category of students, regardless of whether they are studying in Ukraine or abroad, are barred from traveling outside the country. It’s clearly defined by Resolution 57, paragraphs 2-6. Therefore, unless amendments are made, students aren’t allowed to leave Ukraine,” he emphasized.
