St. Nicholas Day in Ukraine may bring snow – Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center

On St. Nicholas Day, December 6, wet snow is possible in Ukraine.

This was announced by Nataliia Ptukha, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“From December 6 we expect a shift in synoptic processes. On St. Nicholas Day, we may see some wet snow, but it could quickly turn into rain. In some areas there could be a touch of white, but nothing significant. We don’t expect any sustained snow or blowing snow, at least not on December 6 and 7,” she said.
