Solar panels installed on roofs of about 70,000 households in Ukraine – Ministry of Economy
As of today, about 70,000 households have installed solar panels on their roofs in Ukraine.
Nadiya Bihun, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
“As far as we are aware, right now, approximately 70,000 households in Ukraine already have solar panels on their roofs,” she said.
The authorities want to speed up these processes in Ukraine, because it is important, particularly, for the economy.
“When a person consumes electricity not from the general grid, but the power produced on their own, they actually leave this amount of electricity for other consumers to use. These include both household consumers and businesses, which is very important for us, as the business won’t have to shut down and will continue working, and our production will be able to keep going,” she added.
