Since the start of the year, 135 people have died in water-related incidents, while 74 were rescued – State Emergency Service 

This year, 44% fewer people have died in water-related incidents compared to the same period last year. Viktor Vitovetskyi, Director of the Department of Civil Protection and Preventive Activities at the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, made this statement at the Ukraine Media Center.

“Last year, 135 people died in water bodies, including 10 children. We managed to rescue 74 people, including 24 children,” he said.
