Since the beginning of Russia’s large-scale invasion, one and a half times more displaced persons have arrived in Odesa than in the previous eight years – military administration
According to Odesa regional military administration data, a total of 196,177 refugees and IDPs have been registered by social services since 2014.
“And since February 24, since the beginning of the Russian invasion, 120,037 internally displaced persons have been registered in Odesa region,” stated the spokesman of the head of Odesa regional military administration Serhii Bratchuk during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.
Thus, over the previous eight years, 80,000 people arrived in the Odesa region, compared to almost 120,000 during the eight months of the full-scale invasion.
